DAY 06 (04th April 2013): Drive to Singita Serengeti Private Reserves
DAY 07 (05th April 2013): Full day in Singita Serengeti Private Reserves
DAY 08 (06th April 2013): Full day in Singita Serengeti Private Reserves
DAY 09 (07th April 2013): Fly back to Kilimanjaro & connect to your outbound flight
Itinerary in DETAIL: –
DAY 01 (30th March 2013): Arrival in Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your Arusha Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Shangazi House
DAY 02 (31st March 2013): DRIVE to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, pick up at approx. 0800 Hrs and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving at your luxurious lodge in time for lunch (4 hours drive – 190km). Descend to the crater in the afternoon for an extensive game drive – pls. note that all wildlife is concentrated on the crater floor. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
DAY 03 (01st April 2013): Full day in Ngorongoro Conservation Area with half day crater tour
After breakfast descend for a half day crater tour with packed lunch for extensive game drives. This protected area is located in the Great Rift Valley and is also known as the eighth wonder of the world. The Crater is actually a gigantic fracture of the earth’s crust. The magnificent landscape consists of volcanoes, mountains, plains, lakes, forests and archaeological sites. The bottom of the Crater (265 km square), dotted with watering holes, offers shelter to almost 30.000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. The Crater elephants are (strangely) mainly bulls. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
DAY 04 (02nd April 2013): Ngorongoro Conservation Area / Serengeti National Park (Central)
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National park with a brief stop-over at Ol Duvai Gorge to arrive at your luxurious camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in this area known to host a great concentration of cats! Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Pioneer Camp
DAY 05 (03rd April 2013): Full day in Serengeti National Park (Central)
Spend the entire day in Central Serengeti with unlimited game drives, taking packed breakfast or lunch if you like. Serengeti is one of the most unique wilderness areas of the world, fantastic in its natural beauty and unequalled in its scientific value. This park is a vast expanse of land with a large concentration of plains animals. It also contains a wide variety of bird-life inhabiting a diversity of habitat and vegetation. One of the most unique remarkable scenes is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, giraffe, gazelle, buffalo and other plains animals. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Pioneer Camp
DAY 06 (04th April 2013): Drive to Singita Serengeti Private Reserves
After breakfast depart for Singita Serengeti Private Reserves with a game drive en-route to arrive in time for lunch. All game activities here will be provided by the Lodge’s vehicles. All meals and overnight at Sasakwa Lodge
DAY 07 & 08 (05th & 06th April 2013): Two full days in Singita Serengeti Private Reserves with game activities as per the lodges schedule. All meals and overnight at Sasakwa Lodge
DAY 09 (07th April 2013): Fly back to Kilimanjaro & connect to your outbound flight
Early morning game drive and breakfast. Thereafter drop off at Kogatende Airstrip for your private charter flight back to Kilimanjario with Air Excel departing at 1100 Hrs. On arrival, connect to your outbound flight.
